If you don’t like martial arts, then you’re missing out. Join a gym and get beaten into the realms of bad-assery. Try to find a gym with no ranks. Make sure the teacher has trained some champs!

- No matter using direct or indirect, you need to use qualification.  It is KEY and THE MOST IMPORTANT phase in pickup.

- If you’re getting flaking, your problem is in qualification.  It’s not your phone game.  If girls seem to like you but don’t end up fucking her, work on A3 (Qualification).

- A good way to find out if you’re doing a good job is after you fuck a girl, ask her why she thinks you like her.  This will give you good feedback on your qualification abilities.

- Girls are attracted to a lot of men, but they’re looking for somebody who is charming and likes them back.  They don’t want somebody who just wants to get into their pants.

- Qualification is one of the biggest way-points.  It’s a way of determining whether or not you actually have attraction if she answers you.  It determines whether or not you have value in her eyes or not.  If no value = bum on the street.  If high value, like Brad Pitt or Hugh Heffner asking the girl.  If she jumps through your big hoops, you’re officially into comfort.

- When in doubt, qualify.  If you have nothing to say, qualify her.

- Frame Control – Adopt the screener frame.  You’re trying to get her to work to meet your standards as opposed to the opposite.  Girls will try to do the same to you.  They will ask you to buy drinks or ask you what you do or where you’re from.  Avoid this shit like the plague.  This will give us higher social power.

- Use Humor – Make ridiculous qualifiers and you can get away with a lot more.  (ie. Are you rich?  I like to stay at home and live the high life.)  “You guys are smart, but I only like girls who are hot, smart, and rich.  Who’s the hottest? Who’s the richest?”

- Hoops – If a girl sets certain hoops for you to jump through, completely ignore it.  Talk over them like you didn’t even notice they said it.  If she asks you to buy her a drink, you can also say, “I’ll get the next one if you get the first.”

- Hoops have different sizes and different hit rates.  If they’re too big they won’t always hit.  Use smaller hoops first then move to bigger ones.

Smaller Hoops = “Are you adventurous? Can You Cook? Are you Fun?” [get 2-3 of these before moving to medium]
Medium Hoops = Requires more effort. “What are your best qualities?, What do you do for fun?”  [get 2 before moving to large hoops]
Very big hoop = “What do you have going for you more than your looks?, What are your best 3 qualities?” = Requires a LOT of attraction. [If she passes, congrats...you're into comfort]

- The biggest hoops will make girls realize they’re chasing you.  If you’ve gotten them started with the small ones, you have enough momentum to keep going.

- Categories of Qualification: Teasing, Compliance, Sexual

- Teasing: “You guys seem really cool, but can you cook?” Sets the stage for role plays.  Sets a fun, joking frame.  Can be used in the beginning very easily.  Push-pull works great here.

- Compliance: “What are your best qualities?” Building her tolerance to you hitting on her.  Allows you to get into sex.

- Sexual: “I bet you’re the type of girl who likes her hair pulled.”  “How good a kisser are you?” Helps eliminate LMR.  If you get these, you can use sexual SOI’s.

- Bait, Hook Reel, Release, Rapport.  “Are you adventurous? I like that, because…__why you like this___.” If she gets uncomfortable, release. “I can’t talk to you anymore. You suck.” Monitor her comfort thresholds.  Getting hit on is uncomfortable if it is over the threshold. Rapport: “What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done in the last month?,” “Well, I _talk about your own story here_____.”

- Complimenting the girl – Choose something you want in a girl.  For example, independence. “You know, you seem like the kind of girl who is really independent and lives her own life.  I respect that about you and that’s a prerequisite to being my friend.”

- Preparing her for escalation: “And I mean that even though I’m trying to get in your pants.”

- Release: “Too bad you’re such a dork.”

- If a girl doesn’t go through your hoop. She’s not attracted to you yet.  Disqualify and continue being the center of attention and high value, fun.  (ie. Her: “What do YOU do for fun?”).  Be sensitive if the girl is afraid to answer because she doesn’t want to sound dumb.

This lair meeting was held in Project San Francisco and filmed by Daniel Johnson and, if I remember correctly, by myself as well.  This was quite a while ago, but I hope people will find this video informative.   It is quite a pity that Project San Francisco no longer hosts the lair meetings.  It was quite a nice venue but I suppose the people there lost interest in pickup as a whole and lost their tight friendships.

Now, here’s one important trick I learned from Mystery and the crew.  You  might have seen it in front of your eyes, but you never really knew about it.  You might have even seen a video floating around the infamous YouTube or something…

You ready for this?

Brotherhood.  Yup.  Having good friends is KEY to a good pickup.  I know,  it’s totally counter-intuitive.  I mean, aren’t guys supposed to enter the set alone and bring in his buddy to occupy the rest of the set?  The answer is a resounding, hell no!

Your friends make you look cool, they brag for you, they pump up your energy, and they take care of you in times of trouble.  So guess what?

The key to good pickup is GOOD FRIENDS.

Tonight – as I was having dinner with two lady-friends and I figured it out live. It was awesome.

(In no particular order)

The four things that WE MUST cultivate and have. The four things we crave. The four things men and women don’t know they need, the things men and women will cheat for.

Simply explained:
A) Inspiration. You need to INSPIRE her to do things she wouldn’t be
able to do and isn’t doing alone. Bring out some great part of her
that she doesn’t have access to. It can be anything. But YOU bring it
out in her.
HB: “OH FUCK ME…I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD DO THAT!..” or “PUA, YOU
INSPIRE ME (to do whatever)” or HB:*world fully blown*

b) Impressive. You must be IMPRESSIVE. Something (or many things)
about you must truly, really, fully impress her. SOmething beyond your
bench press numbers. We all have qualities that others don’t have.
These qualities are different in every relationship as the people you
are connecting with are different.
YOu must have this qualitiy to such an extent that it is difficult for
her to understand.

c) Exuberance. Bring out that childish wonder that finds awesomeness
EVERYWHERE. Everything is great, everyone loves you, everything is

d) Unpredictable Spontanaeity. YOu know that girl? The crazy one? She
is so fucking hot. I might touch her and explode… She’s volatile…
like TNT.. Shit. When I get close to her I find myself thinking “will
she kiss me? will she stab me? maybe both?”… This girl is the crack
coccaine of people. Her male equivalent is the badass dude
with the tattoo’s and piercings. EVERYONE is looking for this in their
lives to varying degree’s. But most guys don’t have it.

Skinny dipping in the ocean at 12am? BRING IT OOOON!

There are ton’s of guys with the other shit – money, funny, nice car, etc.
You show me a guy with those four characteristics *points at self* and I’ll show you a gem that women would leave husbands for.

Union square is a classic place to start for pickup and, on any given weekend, you can spot at least half a dozen PUA’s running around talking to single young ladies (and some not-so-single).

Another great place is just down a few blocks from there, at the Westfield Mall.  The Westfield is a great place because it has a great young audience and the demographics are great.  The best place to look for “targets” is down at the food court.

By far the BEST place is at Stonestown Mall.  Actually, only one part of it is worth going to but it’s the best place by far due to its close proximity to the San Francisco State University.  Many of the people are from other countries and it is perfect for those with foreign tastes.
